History: Dr. Martens 1460 8-eye with air cushion sole were launched in 1960 and were produced in the Solovair factory from the beginning.

Details: 8-eye (or 10-eye) with or without steel cap, black or oxblood

Popular Brands: Dr. Martens 1460 (is now prduced in asia), Solovair Classic Derby

Quality: Solovair still produces Goodyear welted boots in the same factory in England today and are in fact the real Dr. Martens..

History: Jacket produced by Alpha Industries for the civilian market since 1959. Worn by first generation 1960s skinheads in sage green, but not yet very widespread. But they only had their real breakthrough in the 1980s

Details: The originals were short, boxy but not overly bloated and matte. Orange lining since 1960. Since 1978 the inner lining is made of polyester (before wool).

Popular Brands: Alpha Industries MA-1. Unfortunately, Alpha changed the MA-1 in material and shape. Another brand from the early 1960s: Skyline MA-1..
